Oh, hi!  That’s me over there.  I’ve been a blogger longer than having a blog was a cool thing to do, and began writing online in 2000. I am a mom to 5 kids (FIVE! KIDS!), Eddie who is 10, Caitlyn who is 9 , Hannah who is 6, and my twins, Molly and Angus who are almost 2.  I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Ed, since 2002. This doesn’t seem like a big deal because we met on the school bus in 1994 and have been together ever since. I am lucky enough to work from home in risk management and oversight for a major corporation. I consider it a victory when I have showered by noon (SPOILER: The victories are few). If I find myself with some free time, I enjoy reading, cooking and gardening.

I’m a coffee junkie, beauty sample junkie and I love reading smut.  I’d cut a bitch for a good bakery donut.  I really enjoy relaxing with a glass or 3 of wine on the weekends after the kids go to bed.  I will never give up the double space at the end of a sentence.

All of my archives are imported here, and if you happen to read them you’ll notice that I’ve referred to my kids by a number of pseudonyms through the years, which I suppose is confusing.  I’d rather deal with confusion than edit over 600 posts, so I guess we will just deal.

Because I am not busy enough, what with my job and family, I am also the president of our elementary school PTA, and I write about the merits of carpet cleaning over on my husband’s company page.
